3 desserts with protein powder – in less than 10 minutes

A sweet dessert does not fit into a healthy diet? That is not right! These three dessert teas combine sweet temptations and protein-rich foods.

Protein-rich foods have conquered the shelves of supermarkets in recent years. Whether it’s pudding, yoghurt or cake: there are also sweet desserts with extra protein. With a little creativity, you can make this type of dessert yourself. But stand in the kitchen for hours? This is not for everyone. We have three high-protein dessert teas that can be made in less than 10 minutes.

1. Protein wolf with fruit and muesli

Quark, especially low-fat quark, is a good source of protein with little fat. Many people top the dessert with sprinkles, chocolate or sugar to enhance the taste. If you want to save on these calories, use flavored protein powder instead.

  • 190 grams of low-fat quark
  • 1 scoop of fruit-flavored protein powder
  • 1 handful of fresh fruit of your choice
  • Optional muesli, such as oatmeal

The type of protein powder should preferably match the fruit. To prepare, simply mix the powder evenly with the quark so that no lumps form. For serving, wrap quark, fruit and muesli alternately in a glass – the protein dessert is ready!

Particularly versatile: the powder from Sheko can also be mixed with 275 grams of natural yoghurt to make a delicious snack instead of low-fat wolf.

2. Fruity raspberry milkshake with protein powder

A milkshake from the ice cream kiosk is a sweet temptation, especially in spring and summer – but thanks to the ice cream and cream, it contains a lot of calories and therefore does not fit into every menu. A low-calorie – and high-protein – milkshake can be prepared at home:

  • 1 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1 scoop of fruit-flavored protein powder
  • A little almond milk
  • A little Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries (optional)

Mix the raspberries, protein powder and milk in a blender until creamy. Add milk as needed until the desired consistency is achieved. Then pour into a glass and top with Greek yogurt and fresh raspberries – ready!

Raspberries contain many important nutrients such as iron and vitamin C. The shake can of course also be cooked with other frozen fruits. It will be a little more exotic if you choose fruit and protein powder in different flavors, such as blueberries or mango.

3. Avocado chocolate mousse with a high protein content

This mousse au chocolat is a little more chocolate. The combination of avocado, cocoa and protein powder provides protein and healthy fats, while some maple syrup provides the necessary sweetness.

  • 1 whole ripe avocado
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder with chocolate flavor
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

Cooking is very simple and quick: mix all the ingredients in a blender or food processor until a creamy mass is formed. The mousse can be served with a piece of dark chocolate.

Serve dessert: The right crockery should not be missing

Desserts such as chocolate mousse or fruit quail can also be served to guests very well. Arranged in beautiful dessert bowls, a quick-cooked dessert also makes a good impression – because you eat with your eyes, as you know. Glass bowls are especially good for creating a feast for the eyes. The “La Musica” set by Mäser, for example, comes with six bowls in a curved design.

Protein desserts: protein powders can still do it

You can do much more with protein powder than just mixing protein shakes. And you do not have to be a hobby chef to do this – quark, mousse & co are cooked quickly and with little effort. With these recipe ideas, snack boxes will also have value for money – and their protein needs.
